ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- A look at snaps played by Buffalo Bills skill-position players, while analyzing how the totals reflect the way players were utilized (totals provided by the NFL):

QB EJ Manuel -- 63 of 63
WR Steve Johnson -- 62 of 63
WR Robert Woods -- 61 of 63
WR T.J. Graham -- 60 of 63
TE Scott Chandler -- 57 of 63
RB C.J. Spiller -- 37 of 63
RB Fred Jackson -- 26 of 63
WR Marquise Goodwin -- 9 of 63
TE Lee Smith -- 2 of 63
WR Marcus Easley -- 1 of 63
RB Tashard Choice -- 0 of 63
FB Frank Summers -- 0 of 63
WR Chris Hogan -- 0 of 63

ANALYSIS: Spiller received 59 percent of offensive snaps, while Jackson was on the field for 41 percent of the plays. ... The totals reflect a straight-forward offensive approach from coordinator Nathaniel Hackett: for most of the game, the Bills were in '11' personnel: one running back, one tight end, and three wide receivers. That put the Patriots in their nickel defense for most of the contest. ... Goodwin's nine snaps all came in the first half. He did not play in the second half due to a hand injury.
