Bills post-draft roster reset: Offensive line

Taking a look at the Buffalo Bills' roster, which stands at 90 players following the draft and undrafted free-agent signings:

Position: Offensive line

Veterans: Eric Wood, Cordy Glenn, Richie Incognito, Seantrel Henderson, Chris Williams, Kraig Urbik, Cyrus Kouandjio, Cyril Richardson, William Campbell, Alex Kupper, D.J. Morrell, Darryl Johnson

Drafted rookies: John Miller

Undrafted rookies: Tyson Chandler

Rookie camp tryouts: None

Early thoughts: Coach Rex Ryan said this week that Miller has been receiving first-team reps with the offense during Phase 2 of voluntary offseason workouts. If that sticks into organized team activities (OTAs), which begin May 26, then it will be a positive sign for the third-round pick's chances to challenge for a starting job in training camp. If Miller wins that job and Incognito slides into a role at the other guard spot, Williams' roster spot could be in jeopardy. The Bills would save almost $2 million on their 2015 salary cap by releasing Williams prior to the start of the regular season, space which they could then carry over into the the 2016 season, when they are already strapped for salary-cap space. While the two guard spots will get the most attention this summer, the Bills need better play out of their center (Wood) and right tackle (Henderson) than they received last season.
