Barber only Bear to miss entire practice

September, 5, 2011
LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Second string running back Marion Barber was the only Chicago Bears player to sit out the entire practice on Monday.

Barber has been out of commission since suffering a calf injury in the Bears’ third preseason game in Tennessee on Aug. 27.

Tight end Kellen Davis (back), defensive tackle Anthony Adams (calf), linebacker Lance Briggs (knee), defensive end Corey Wootton (knee), safety Craig Steltz (hip), safety Chris Conte (head), running back Kahlil Bell (ankle) and receiver Sam Hurd (ankle) all participated in individual drills during the open portion of practice.

The Bears aren't required to release an official injury report until Wednesday.
