Key dates for Bears this week

The Chicago Bears still haven’t released an official schedule for training camp, but the club announced a few details about the upcoming days on its official website.
Here’s a quick look:
Tuesday, 9 a.m.: Facilities open for voluntary workouts and classroom instruction. In addition, the Bears can begin negotiations with their own free agents and free agents from other teams.
Thursday, 3:01 p.m.: Bears can waive or terminate the contracts of players on the roster.
Friday: Training camp opens in Bourbonnais with mandatory physicals. At 5 p.m., the Bears can sign their own free agents as well as unrestricted free agents around the league.
Saturday, 3 p.m.: The Bears take the field for their first practice of training camp at Olivet Nazarene University. The practice, which will be conducted without pads, is open to the public.
Sunday, Noon: The Bears conduct their second practice of camp without pads.
According to the team website, the Bears expect to release the entire training camp sometime on Tuesday.
