Unga leaves team, personal reasons
By Jeff Dickerson
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- Second year Chicago Bears running back Harvey Unga has left the team for a second time in training camp to deal with personal issues. The absence is excused, according to the team.
Unga, selected by the Bears in the 2010 NFL supplemental draft, is fighting for a roster spot in a crowded backfield that includes incumbent starter Matt Forte, veterans Marion Barber and Chester Taylor, and promising third year rusher Kahlil Bell.
The BYU product carried the ball nine times for 27 yards in the club's preseason opener.
