Lance Briggs among Bears actives
By Michael C. Wright
PHILADELPHIA -- The Chicago Bears announced their list of inactives for Sunday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with no surprises, other than perhaps rookie receiver Marquess Wilson, who had been active for 10 consecutive games.
It’s likely the Bears added Wilson to the list of inactives to accommodate linebacker Lance Briggs, who is expected to play in his first game since the team’s Oct. 20 loss at Washington.
Wilson has produced only one catch this season, a 3-yard gain at Washington.
Other Bears inactives included quarterback Jordan Palmer, defensive tackle Christian Tupou, offensive tackles Joe Long, Jonathan Scott, and James Brown, and defensive end Cornelius Washington.
Philadelphia’s list of inactives includes quarterback Matt Barkley, safeties Colt Anderson and Kurt Coleman, cornerback Curtis Marsh, running back Matthew Tucker, and offensive tackles Matt Tobin and Denis Kelly.
