LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Bears confirmed Monday that cornerback Charles Tillman suffered a mild concussion in the 36-10 loss to Minnesota. The veteran cornerback was accidentally struck in the head by fellow teammate Tommie Harris in the middle of the third quarter, and was replaced by Nathan Vasher.
Meantime, the Bears are still evaluating Lance Brigg's knee injury -- the star linebacker was in visible pain trying to leave the visitors locker room at the Metrodome on Sunday. Head coach Lovie Smith said he should know more about Briggs, Tillman, Alex Brown (leg contusion) and Orlando Pace (groin) later in the week.
If Briggs is lost for an extended period of time, the Bears are expected to turn to Jamar Williams at weak side linebacker. Williams finished with four tackles against the Vikings, according to the official press box statistics.
