CHICAGO -- Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Aromashoducemented his place in the team's offensive plans for 2010, catching seven passes for 150 yards, including the winning 39-yard touchdown reception in overtime of the Bears' 36-30 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.

"It was a run play," Aromashodu said. "It was designed to be a run play, but we checked to a go [route]. Basically, if we saw everyone come down [in the box], we weren't going to run the ball into a blitz. So we checked to a double-go for both receivers, and Jay [Cutler] just made a great throw."

"He's [Aromashodu] a good player, a confident player, and Jay has a lot of confidence in him," Bears offensive coordinator Ron Turner said. "We went to him in crunch time, and he stepped up."

Cutler also stepped up Monday night, playing probably his best game of the season, throwing a season-high four touchdowns.

"He [Cutler] played an excellent game," Aromashodu said. "He managed the game real well. He made the right checks that enabled us to get open and make the catches. He played a great game tonight."
