CHICAGO -- Olin Kreutz does not regret speaking up last week against Chicago Bears management, even though his comments reportedly resulted in a heated meeting with general manager Jerry Angelo.
"It wasn't a hard week for me in any way," Kreutz said in the postgame locker room. "Some of the stuff they said was true, so I really can't argue. Some of it wasn't. I found out I have a chronic back condition, so I better start getting treatment on that. People are going to say things about you in this business when you open your mouth. I know that, that's why I haven't said anything in 12 years. When you say something, you open yourself up for criticism. That's what I did."
Is Kreutz concerned this could be his last game at Soldier Field in a Bears' uniform?
"I don't think about that stuff," the veteran said. "If it happens, it happens."
