Taylor is considered to be the top free agent running back. He was used mainly as a third-down back as a complement to Adrian Peterson with the Minnesota Vikings in recent seasons.
Taylor also has displayed excellent ability as a receiver, a prerequisite for playing running back in a Mike Martz system.
Despite being in the league since 2002, Taylor only has 1,028 career regular season rushing attempts.
