MINNEAPOLIS -- Six-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker Brian Urlacher's decorated 11-year career with the Bears has included playing on four division champions (2001, 2005, 2006, 2010).

Where does this one rank?

"They are all special and hard to get," Urlacher said. "After you get that one, you always think you're going to get next year, next year, next year and we haven't done that. We won back-to-back one time, and it's nice to be back where we need to be -- atop our division.

"It's so hard, you take it for granted. The teams are so good now, year to year, you never know who is going to be good. I know we were picked to be at the bottom of our division this year, and Green Bay and Minnesota were going to be at the top, so you never know what's going to happen in a season."

One player not taking the Bears’ accomplishment for granted is defensive tackle Anthony Adams, who failed to play on a championship team in high school, college or during the first seven years in the NFL.

"It's huge for me," Adams said. "I missed the playoffs the last three years with the Bears, and before that, we weren't really that good in San Francisco. At Penn State, we began one season ranked No. 1, but we never won any kind of title. Same thing in high school, we made the city title games, but never won.

"This is an incredible feeling right here."
