Hester skips part of practice

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears return man Devin Hester was limited in practice on Thursday after missing the early portion of the workout to deal with a personal matter, according to Bears head coach Lovie Smith.

"He missed part of practice and was able to finish up practice," Smith said. "He was tending to a personal matter before or during the early part, then finished up strong at practice."

The Bears also officially listed starting nickel back D.J. Moore as having limited participation for the second consecutive day as the team prepares to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Soldier Field.

Moore has been inactive the last two weeks after he sprained his ankle during practice a few days before the Bears played the San Diego Chargers on November 20.

With Moore temporarily out of the picture, Corey Graham has taken over the nickel spot and picked off three passes in the last three games.

Meantime, veteran defensive tackle Anthony Adams sat out Thursday due to a tight back. Adams was inactive last Sunday versus the Raiders and replaced in the tackle rotation by Matt Toeaina.

For the Chiefs, guard Ryan Lilja (head) and center Casey Wiegmann (finger) were both limited. Linebacker Demorrio Williams had full participation.
