Bears, Edwin Williams agree to extension

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday they have agreed on a two-year contract extension with offensive lineman Edwin Williams.

Williams' deal now runs through the 2013 season.

Williams has played in 14 games this season, starting the past six games at left guard. He has made 11 starts and appeared in 23 games over three seasons with the Bears and Washington Redskins.
