LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears receiver Devin Hester predicts at least one of the team's wideouts will be a major factor in the passing game against the Detroit Lions' banged-up secondary on Monday night.

Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice said Thursday he plans to have Hester and Earl Bennett help fill the void left by rookie Alshon Jeffery, who has already been ruled out due to a fractured hand.

"I'm always looking forward to a Monday night game, point blank," Hester said Friday. "Who knows how this game is going to fall this week, whether or not it be Eric Weems' day to make plays, Brandon (Marshall), or myself, even Earl. We don't know how this game is going to swing, but we do know one guy is going to blow up this week. Whoever that might be, I pray they do good."

Although Hester has posted modest numbers through five games this season, he leads all Bears' receivers with 21 career receptions to go along with 257 yards and one touchdown against the Lions. In just two career games against Detroit, Marshall has caught 19 passes for 198 yards. Bennett has 18 catches for 244 yards against the NFC North rival.

"(Our receivers) have all shown they can play ball," Hester said. "Now it's just a matter of time. (When they) get opportunities, they have to take advantage of them."
