Cutler (ribs) participates fully in practice

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler participated fully in practice Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's home game against Carolina Panthers despite sore ribs.

Cutler has maintained all week he plans to start versus the Panthers despite injuring his ribs Monday night on a vicious hit from Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Cutler left the field for only one play following the Suh hit, but was taken back to the locker room later by the team's medical staff prior to the conclusion of the first half. Cutler returned after halftime and finished the game with 150 passing yards and one touchdown in the Bears' 13-7 victory.

Tight end Brody Eldridge is also probable due an illness.

Rookie wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was previously ruled out of the Panthers game because of a fractured right hand.
