LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears added receiver Brandon Marshall (hamstring) and linebacker Blake Costanzo (calf) to their latest injury report, with both practicing Thursday in a limited capacity while linebacker Brian Urlacher and Jonathan Scott remain out with hamstring injuries.

The injuries to Marshall and Costanzo aren't believed to be serious and shouldn't affect their availability for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

"We added a couple of guys to the list," Bears coach Lovie Smith said. "Hopefully their (injuries are) not that serious and (they'll) be able to go."

Receiver Earl Bennett, who missed the last two games recovering from a concussion worked in a limited capacity Thursday, as did linebacker Geno Hayes (knee), cornerback Tim Jennings (shoulder), defensive end Shea McClellin (knee) and defensive tackle Henry Melton (chest).

Hayes Jennings, Urlacher, Melton, Bennett and McClellin were inactive for last week's game against the Green Bay Packers.

With the team's postseason prospects fading, Jennings and Melton both indicated prior to practice Thursday that they would like to return to face the Cardinals. Smith, however, cautioned that neither player will be brought back into action before he's ready to play.

"It's about one game at a time," Smith said. "It's pretty simple how we look at that. When you're healthy -- and I'm talking about from the trainers (because) guys always want to go (and are) ready to go -- but we'll let the medical staff tell us when they're ready to go. If they're ready to go, we'll always play them. I just know that all the guys that have been held out are making progress. I'm talking about Henry Melton, Shea (McClellin), Tim Jennings. All the guys looked pretty good in practice today."

The Cardinals added guard Mike Gibson (calf) to their latest injury report, and held him out of Thursday's workout session along with receiver Early Doucet (concussion) and safeties Rashad Johnson (hamstring) and James Sanders (calf).

Limited participants for the Cardinals included linebacker Quentin Groves (foot), tight end Rob Housler (knee), offensive tackle Nate Potter (ankle), fullback Anthony Sherman (knee), defensive end Ronald Talley (ankle), cornerback Greg Toler (hamstring) and defensive tackle Dan Williams (hamstring).

The Cardinals also added defensive end Calais Campbell (calf) to the injury report. But he participated fully Thursday as did long snapper Mike Leach (back/shoulder).
