Knox looks to have fun against Seahawks

By Jeff Dickerson

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Johnny Knox's pursuit of 1,000 receiving yards got derailed in Green Bay.

The Bears hope the wide receiver's game gets back on track for the playoffs.

After a big day against the New York Jets the previous week -- 4 receptions, 92 yards, 2 touchdowns, Knox basically disappeared in the regular season finale at Lambeau Field. He failed to catch a single pass despite being targeted eight times.

The Packers game marked the first time this year Knox was held without a reception, and only the second time in Knox's short career -- Knox was also inactive the last week on 2009.

"Just some things didn't work out," Knox said. "They switched up [coverages] a little bit, gave us some blitzes. We could have done better at adjusting. This time around, we hopefully will pick those things up."

There's plenty of reason for optimism that Knox will bounce back in grand fashion. The former fifth-round pick had a career high 120 receiving yards in the first meetings with Seattle, including a 67-yard completion from Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

"It's going to mean a lot [Sunday]," Knox said. "It'll be one of the biggest games I've ever played in. I'm just going to go out there and not put too much pressure on myself and just have fun."
