Market developing for Bears FA Davis

By Jeff Dickerson

CHICAGO -- A market has formed for Bears free agent wide receiver Rashied Davis.

"We are moving along carefully and methodically," Davis' agent Wynn Silberman told ESPNChicago.com. "Offers have come in for Rashied by a number of different teams."

Davis, a six-year veteran, is considered a valuable special teams contributor and a quality backup at the receiver position. He finished fourth on the club last season with 16 special teams tackles and returned five kickoffs. Davis caught seven passes for 63 yards in the Bears season finale versus the Green Bay Packers.

A reserve on offense the past two seasons, the wideout started 12 games in 2008 and hauled in a career high 35 catches for 445 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

"We are weighing our options," Silberman said.
