Gould suffers strained left calf in pregame

MINNEAPOLIS -- Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould suffered a strained left calf during pregame warmups and gave way to punter Adam Podlesh for the opening kickoff.
It's unknown exactly how Gould suffered the injury, but it definitely impact him during warmups just minutes before the start of the game. Gould connected on several kicks as he tested the leg and his his longest from 43 and 44 yards. Podlesh also kicked field goals during warmups.
Podlesh handled kickoff duties in the first half, but Gould kicked the extra point on the Bears' touchdown late in the second quarter.
In other injury news, Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton returned to the game in the second quarter after going back to the locker room to have his left shoulder examined. But he left the game again and his return is questionable. The team also announced that defensive end Shea McClellin's return is questionable after he left with a knee injury.
Cornerback Sherrick McManis is out with a knee injury and safety Craig Steltz won't return because of a chest injury.
