Scott (hamstring) returns in third quarter

By Jeff Dickerson

CHICAGO -- The Bears' continuity of their offensive line took another hit when starting right tackle Jonathan Scott sustained a hamstring injury in the first half against the Green Bay Packers.

Scott returned for the first drive of the second half.

Gabe Carimi replaced Scott at right tackle at the half, but only after the former first round pick got benched at right guard in favor of Chris Spencer. Undrafted rookie James Brown made his first career NFL start Sunday at left guard.

Carimi went back to the bench in the third quarter with Spencer staying at guard.

Scott, a six-year NFL veteran, signed with the Bears on September 10 and eventually worked his way into the starting line-up beginning in Week 12.
