Vote: Who is to blame for Bears' collapse?
Lovie Smith paid the price with his job on Monday for the Chicago Bears failing to make the playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons. The Bears became the first team since the 1996 Washington Redskins to start the season 7-1 and fail to make the playoffs.
There were several factors contributing to the collapse -- a shaky and constantly changing offensive line, an overall inability by the offense to put points on the board and a defense that couldn't keep up its record-setting scoring pace.
As change sweeps into Halas Hall, who do you blame for the Bears' collapse?
