Chicago Bears: practice squad
Jurovich, 6-0, 199 pounds, came into the league in 2010 as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles out of San Jose State. The Eagles released Jurovich in July, and he spent the 2010 regular season on the practice squad of the San Francisco 49ers.
Jurovich participated in two preseasons with the 49ers catching three passes for 66 yards, and was released by the club in August.
Jurovich caught 60 passes for 777 yards and a touchdown as a senior at San Jose State.
Stephens, a seventh-round selection (228th overall) of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, spent the entire 2010 season on the Bengals active roster but was inactive for all 16 contests. The Bengals released him after the 2011 preseason.
The players are receiver Kris Adams, guard Ricky Henry, tackle Levi Horn, defensive tackle Jordan Miller, tight end Andre Smith, linebacker Patrick Trahan and safety Anthony Walters.
The Bears still have one open spot on the practice squad.
Trahan, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Ole Miss, spent the year on the Tennessee Titans practice squad.
To make room for Trahan, the Bears terminated the practice squad of wide receiver Rashaun Greer.

The Bears originally signed Matthews, an undrafted rookie out of Michigan, to the practice squad on September 5, but later released the wideout on September 15. Matthews spent the entire offseason with the Bears, and made several memorable catches during training camp.
Linebacker J.D. Folsom was released to make room for Matthews.
