The future of the Chicago Blackhawks will be on display this coming September when several of the team's top prospects compete in the Toronto Maple Leafs Rookie Tournament.
The Blackhawks roster will include 2008 first-round selection Kyle Beach, defenseman Shawn Lalonde, who notched a career-high 56 points with the Bellevill Bulls of the OHL this past season, and Jeremy Morin, who scored 47 goals for the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers. The team also will include Chris DiDomenico and Phillipe Paradis, both of whom were acquired through a trade with Toronto this summer.
The Hawks will compete against squads of prospects from the Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins. The event is begins on Saturday, Sept. 11, at John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario.
