CHICAGO -- Columbus Blue Jackets forward Matt Calvert won’t face supplemental punishment for a hit on Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews in the third period of the Hawks’ 5-2 victory Saturday night, according to a source.

Calvert checked Toews into the boards and was given a two-minute minor penalty for the infraction, but he won’t have a hearing with the league to determine additional discipline.

Toews was slow to get up but finished the game.
