Dave Bolland leaves game, is day to day

CHICAGO – Chicago Blackhawks center Dave Bolland suffered an upper-body injury during Friday’s game with the San Jose Sharks and is considered day-to-day, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said.

Bolland played 13 shifts and 11 minutes, 37 seconds through two periods on Friday. He did not play in the third period.

Bolland has five goals and two assists in 16 games this season. He has been playing on the team’s second line with Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp.
