Here’s a look at the Chicago Blackhawks by the numbers this season:

17-4: One bookmaker’s odds for the Blackhawks to win the Stanley Cup as of Monday. The Pittsburgh Penguins have the second-best odds at 15-2.

6: Number of teams from the 1995 lockout season the Blackhawks have already surpassed with 41 points.

8: Number of players ranked in the league’s top-50 plus/minus ratings. No other team has more than six players in the top 50. Coincidentally, none of the Blackhawks are ranked in the top 19.

12: Number of different Blackhawks who have scored a game-winning goal this season. Marian Hossa leads the team with three game-winners.

15: Number of one-goal games the Blackhawks have played in this season. They played in 38 one-goal games last season. They lost six of those games in regulation last season.

17: Number of points between the Blackhawks and the next team in the Central. St. Louis and Detroit are tied with 24 points.

18: Number of hits by forward Daniel Carcillo through seven games. He’s tied for fifth on the team.

26: Number of points Patrick Kane has this season. In his sixth season, it’s the second most points he’s had through 22 games. He had 28 points through 22 games in the 2008-09 season.

27.5: Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival's on-ice Corsi rating (goals plus saves plus missed shots plus blocks per 60 minutes). He leads the team and is fifth in the NHL (minimum 10 games played). Michael Frolik (16.57 rating) and Jonathan Toews (13.80) are second and third on the team.

Plus-29: The Blackhawks’ goal differential this season. They have scored 70 goals and allowed 41. The next team is the Anaheim Ducks with a plus-16.

38: Number of goals Corey Crawford and Ray Emery have combined to allow through 76 periods, including overtimes, this season.

53: The number of team-leading blocked shots Niklas Hjalmarsson and Brent Seabrook each have. They’re tied for 11th in the NHL.

59.7: Toews’ faceoff percentage this season. Of the team’s regular four centers, Toews is the only one above 46 percent. Andrew Shaw (45.3), Dave Bolland (44.5) and Marcus Kruger (44.0) have all had over 200 faceoffs this season.

225: Number of regular-season games Hossa has played with the Blackhawks. He played his 1,000th-career NHL regular-season game on Sunday.

230: Number of NHL-leading takeaways the Blackhawks have this season. The next team is the Carolina Hurricanes with 178.
