Hawks acquire forward Sauve from Bruins

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks announced Wednesday they acquired forward Maxime Sauvé from the Boston Bruins for forward Rob Flick.

The 23-year-old Sauvé has 10 goals and 13 assists with the Providence Bruins of the AHL this season. He was drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft. He played one game for the Bruins last season.

The 22-year-old Flick has three goals and two assists in 51 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL this season. He was drafted by the Blackhawks in the fourth round of the 2010 draft.

Sauvé will be assigned to Rockford.
