Here is our weekly Chicago Blackhawks prospects’ update:

Tyler Motte, forward, Michigan (NCAA)
Motte, a freshman, was awarded the Big Ten’s second star of the week after he had a goal and two assists against Niagara on Friday. It was the first multi-point game of his career. He has five goals and two assists in 11 games.

Ryan Hartman, forward, Plymouth Whalers (OHL)
Hartman has missed the Whalers’ last five games and is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury, according to a Whalers’ spokesperson. He hasn’t played since Nov. 9. He is tied for a team-leading 21 points. He has 10 goals and 11 assists in 20 games.

Teuvo Teravainen, forward, Jokerit (SM-liiga)
Teravainen had two assists in Jokerit’s last three games. He has three goals and 12 assists in 21 games this season.

Klas Dahlbeck, defenseman, Rockford IceHogs (AHL)
Dahlbeck scored the game-winning goal in the IceHogs’ 4-3 win over the Charlotte Checkers on Sunday. Dahlbeck also led the team with five shots on goal. He has six goals and six assists in 21 games this season.

Michael Paliotta, defenseman, Vermont (NCAA)
Paliotta, a junior, tallied a total of three assists in the Catamounts’ two weekend wins over Massachusetts. He has four assists in 11 games this season.

Joakim Nordstrom, forward, Rockford IceHogs (AHL)
Nordstrom had his most productive game of the season and scored twice in the IceHogs’ 5-2 loss to the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday. He has three goals and one assist in 12 games this season.

Justin Holl, defenseman, Minnesota (NCAA)
Holl had a game-high four blocked shots in the Gophers’ 6-1 win over Minnesota Duluth on Friday. Holl did not play in their second game Sunday. He has three assists, 14 blocks and a plus-7 rating in 10 games this season.

Brandon Whitney, goaltender, Victoriaville Tigres (QMJHL)
Whitney made 45 saves in the Tigres’ 3-2 shootout loss to the Gatineau Olympiques on Sunday. He has made 40 or more saves four times this season. He has a 2.25 goals-against average and .938 save percentage over his last four games.

Stephen Johns, defenseman, Notre Dame (NCAA)
Johns, a senior, had a team-high three blocked shots in Notre Dame’s 3-1 loss to UMass Lowell on Saturday. Johns is second on the team with 26 blocks. He also has two goals, five assists and a plus-1 rating on the season.

Philippe Lefebvre, forward, Rockford IceHogs (AHL)
Lefebvre scored his first goal for the IceHogs on Sunday. He came over to the Blackhawks from the Florida Panthers as part of the trade for Kris Versteeg. Lefebvre has one goal and a plus-2 rating in three games for the IceHogs.

Dillon Fournier, defenseman, Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL)
Fournier has recorded an assist in each of the Huskies’ past two games. He has seven goals, 12 assists and a plus-11 rating in 24 games this season. He leads the team’s defensemen in points.

Travis Brown, defenseman, Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL)
Brown continues to pile up points as he added three more points in the Warriors’ last two games. He had a goal and an assist against the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday and an assist against the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday. He has nine goals and 22 assists in 29 games this season.
