Chicago Blackhawks forwards Michal Handzus and Andrew Shaw will not travel with the team prior to Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild, the team announced on Wednesday.

Handzus sat out Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Stars due to an illness. He has one goal and three assists in 13 games this season.

Shaw was involved in a fight Tuesday during the first period and was checked hard into the boards during the third period. He has eight goals and nine assists in 17 games this season.

The Blackhawks recalled forwards Joakim Nordstrom and Jeremy Morin from the AHL and reassigned forward Brandon Pirri on Wednesday.
