CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw will play against the Florida Panthers on Sunday after missing two games due to an upper-body injury, coach Joel Quenneville said.

Blackhawks forward Bryan Bickell also skated Sunday for the first time since suffering a lower-body injury on Nov. 19. He has missed nine games due to the injury. He has five goals and one assist in 22 games this season.

Shaw said he “aggravated pain” in his upper body during Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Stars. He missed Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Wild and Friday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks. He has eight goals and nine assists in 29 games this season.

“I’m pretty excited, tons of energy,” Shaw said after the team’s optional morning skate at the United Center. “I felt great on the ice. I’m excited for tonight’s game to start."

Quenneville also announced goaltender Corey Crawford would start against the Panthers. Crawford was given a day off against the Ducks on Friday. He has allowed four goals in each of his last two starts.
