CHICAGO – Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa and defenseman Brent Seabrook sat out practice on Thursday, but they are expected to play against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday.

Hossa was held out of practice for a “maintenance” day and Seabrook was sick, according to Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville.

“Both should be fine tomorrow,” Quenneville said after practice at the United Center.

Hossa has 17 goals, 22 assists and a plus-24 rating in 44 games this season. Seabrook has six goals, 26 assists and a plus-23 rating in 49 games this season.

The Ducks and Blackhawks are first and second in points in the NHL. The Ducks are 36-8-5 with 77 points, and the Blackhawks are 30-8-11 with 71 points.
