CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith missed practice Saturday due to an illness, but he is expected to play against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, coach Joel Quenneville said.

“He’s going to be alright,” Quenneville said after practice at Johnny’s IceHouse West. “He was here this morning. He seemed much better, felt better and should be ready to play tomorrow.”

Keith sat out the Blackhawks’ game against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday due to the illness. He last played on Wednesday.

Keith has three goals, 43 assists, a plus-19 rating and an average ice time of 23:34 in 52 games this season. He leads NHL defensemen in assists and points.
