Prospect watch: Hayes' streak reaches 12

Here’s a look at how some of the Chicago Blackhawks' prospects are faring throughout the world:

Kevin Hayes, F, Boston College (NCAA), drafted 1st round in 2010: The 21-year-old senior pushed his points streak to 12 games last week. He had two goals in a 3-2 win over Penn State on Saturday and has 13 goals and 14 assists since his streak began on Nov. 29.

Teuvo Teravainen, F, Jokerit (Finland), drafted 1st round in 2012: The 19-year-old Teravainen continued to pile up points last week. He had three assists in Jokerit’s 7-1 win over TPS Turku on Saturday. He has 14 points in the last six games and leads Jokerit with 31 points in 35 games.

Jeremy Morin, F, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), acquired via trade in 2010: Morin, 22, had two goals and seven shots on net in the IceHogs’ 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday. He has 11 goals, 13 assists and 133 shots on goal in 30 games this season.

Adam Clendening, D, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), drafted 2nd round in 2011: The 21-year-old leads the IceHogs with 33 points. He has six goals, 27 assists and a plus-two rating in 45 games this season. He had a goal in the IceHogs’ win Sunday.

Maxim Shalunov, F, Toledo Walleye (ECHL), drafted 4th round in 2011: The 21-year-old Shalunov had the game-winning goal in the Walleye’s 3-2 win over the Evansville IceMen on Wednesday and also had two goals in their 4-2 win over the Greenville Road Warriors on Sunday. He was recently loaned to the Walleye. He has seven goals and one assist in 11 games with Toledo this season.

Mac Carruth, G, Toledo Walleye (ECHL), drafted 7th round in 2010: Carruth, 21, made 30 saves on 32 shots in a win over Evansville on Wednesday, 25 saves on 27 shots in a win over Greenville on Sunday and 35 saves on 38 shots in a loss to Reading on Saturday. He is 6-9-0 with a 3.12 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 16 games in Toledo this season.

Alex Broadhurst, F, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), drafted 7th round in 2011: The 20-year-old had a goal and an assist in the IceHogs’ win over Milwaukee on Sunday. He has eight goals and 15 assists in 45 games this season.

Anthony Louis, F, Miami Ohio (NCAA), drafted 6th round in 2013: The 18-year-old freshman had one goal and two assists in Miami’s 6-1 win over Colorado College on Saturday. He has five goals and eight assists in 23 games this season.

Ryan Hartman, F, Plymouth Whalers (OHL), drafted 1st round in 2013: Hartman’s production hasn’t been at the same level since he returned from an injury and the World Junior Championship in early January. The 19-year-old had zero goals, three assists and a minus-two rating in eight games this month. He has 13 goals, 16 assists and a minus-18 rating in 33 games this season.

Sam Jardine, D, Ohio State (NCAA), drafted 6th round in 2011: The 20-year-old sophomore had two assists, one block and a plus-two rating in Ohio State’s 3-1 win over Wisconsin on Saturday. He has eight assists, 23 blocks and a plus-two rating in 21 games this season.

Vince Hinostroza, F, Notre Dame (NCAA), drafted 6th round in 2012: Hinostroza, a 19-year-old freshman, had a goal and an assist in the Fighting Irish’s 3-0 win over Northeastern on Saturday. He’s tied for second on the team with 22 points. He has six goals and 16 assists in 19 games.

Michael Paliotta, D, Vermont (NCAA), drafted 3rd round in 2011: Paliotta, a junior, has seven assists in his last six games. The 20-year-old has three goals, 16 assists and 34 blocks in 25 games this season.
