Blackhawks Olympic update: Day 3

Here's a look at how the Chicago Blackhawks fared in the Olympics on Friday:

Jonathan Toews, forward, Canada
Canada rolled to 6-0 win over Austria on Friday and improved to 2-0 in pool play. Toews had the lone assist on the game's first goal and finished with one assist and a plus-three rating. He also won 10-of-18 faceoffs, had three shots on goal and led the team's forwards with 15:59 of ice time. Canada plays Finland on Sunday.

Duncan Keith, defenseman, Canada
Keith was on the ice four-plus minutes more than anyone else on his team against Austria. He played 29 shifts and 23:52. He had zero points, three shots on goal and a plus-three rating in the win.

Patrick Sharp, forward, Canada
Sharp was a healthy scratch for Canada's game on Friday. He was replaced by the Colorado Avalanche's Matt Duchene in the team's lineup.

Marcus Kruger, forward, Sweden
Sweden pulled out a 1-0 win over Switzerland on Friday and improve to 2-0 in pool play. Kruger had zero points and a zero rating in the win. He won 2-of-7 faceoffs and played 18 shifts and 9:55. Sweden plays Latvia on Sunday.

Niklas Hjalmarsson, defensemen, Sweden
Hjalarmarsson helped keep Switzerland off the scoreboard. He had two shots on goal, a zero rating and played 23 shifts and 17:40.

Johnny Oduya, defenseman, Sweden
Oduya was also key in holding the shutout. He played 22 shifts and 14:47 of ice time. He had zero points and a zero rating.

Michal Rozsival, defenseman, Czech Republic
The Czech Republic defeated Latvia 4-2 on Friday and improved to 1-1. Rozsival finished with a zero rating and played 25 shifts and 19:34. The Czech Republic face Switzerland on Sunday.
