CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews did not practice Thursday because he was not feeling well, but he is expected to play against the Minnesota Wild in Game 1 of their second-round playoff series on Friday, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said.

“He’s fine,” Quenneville said after the team’s practice at the United Center. “He’s a little under the weather today, but he’ll be more than fine.”

Toews tied Duncan Keith for a team-high seven points in the Blackhawks’ first-round series against the St. Louis Blues. Toews had three goals, four assists and a plus-4 rating in six games against the Blues. All three of his goals were game winners.
