The Chicago Blackhawks announced Sunday they will return to the University of Notre Dame for training camp next season.
The Blackhawks will open their training camp at Notre Dame’s Compton Family Ice Arena on Sept. 19 and hold practices there until Sept. 21. They will have their annual training camp festival in Chicago on Sept. 22.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to return to Notre Dame and their world-class facility,” Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman said in a statement. “We received an overwhelming positive response from our players and staff on their experience at Notre Dame last September and are looking forward to another great weekend to kick off training camp next season.”
The Blackhawks held training camp at Notre Dame for the first time last season. Bowman attended Notre Dame.
