12: Patrick Kane scored a team-high 12 goals during the streak. None were bigger than the one he notched in the final minutes of the third period to force overtime against the Detroit Red Wings on March 3. He also scored in the shootout to provide the win.
13: The Blackhawks had 13 different players score game-winning goals during the streak, with the last memorable one coming from No. 13 Daniel Carcillo on March 6.
14: The Blackhawks started the season on fire offensively and set the tone for the streak. They scored 14 goals in their first three games. They defeated the Los Angeles Kings 5-2 in the season opener, topped the Coyotes 6-4 the next day and finally defeated the St. Louis Blues 3-2 in the home opener at the United Center.
15: It was the 15th game of the streak that the Blackhawks knocked off the defending Stanley Cup champions Kings for the second time in the season. The Blackhawks conceded two third-period goals, but held on for a 3-2 victory.
16: The Blackhawks played in 16 one-goal games during the streak.
17: Blackhawks rookie forward Brandon Saad's 17th shot on goal this season finally produced his first career goal. The goal came against the San Jose Sharks on Feb. 5.
18: The Blackhawks picked up a point in their 18th consecutive game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Feb. 24 when Andrew Shaw scored the game’s lone goal and goaltender Corey Crawford had a shutout in his first game back after missing four games with an injury.
19: No. 19 Jonathan Toews was special during the streak. He had 10 goals, including a short-handed one to tie the Colorado Avalanche in the third period of Blackhawks’ 24th consecutive game with a point, on March 6. He also had a plus-12 rating, 11 assists, a 59.5 faceoff percentage and 30 takeaways.
20: Game No. 20 was where a lot of people were picking the Blackhawks to lose, but Chicago went into St. Louis and won 3-0 despite Crawford's having to leave after the first period with an injury. Toews scored twice. It was the Blackhawks’ first road game after a seven-game homestand.
21: The Blackhawks won 21 games during the streak. They went 21-0-3. They won 14 games in regulation, four in overtime and three in shootouts.
22: Blackhawks goaltender Ray Emery turned aside 22 shots in the third period against the Flames on Feb. 2. Emery had a career-high 45 saves and stopped all three shootout shots for the win.
23: Keith led the Blackhawks with 23:54 of average ice time during the streak. That’s three minutes fewer than last season for Keith. The Blackhawks have been fresher this season because coach Joel Quenneville has cut players’ minutes and relied on the team’s depth. All four lines were vital to the streak.
24: The Blackhawks’ points streak came to an end after an NHL-best 24 games to start the season, during which the Blackhawks were one of the biggest stories in sports.
