The Oilers’ David Perron was attempting to clear the puck when it flew into the Blackhawks bench and struck Rozsival in the face with 4:19 remaining in the third period. Rozsival fell to the ground and was immediately tended to by the team’s medical staff. He was taken to the team’s dressing room and did not return to the game.
Rozsival had an assist and a plus-one rating and played 13:47 of ice time in the Blackhawks’ 5-4 win over the Oilers. He also saved the Blackhawks from allowing a goal when he knocked away a puck that was heading into the Blackhawks’ net during the second period.
