Prospect watch: Morin extends streak to 10

Here’s a look at how some of the Chicago Blackhawks prospects are doing throughout the world:
Jeremy Morin, forward, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), acquired via trade in 2010: The 22-year-old Morin is playing some of the best hockey of his career. He’s on a 10-game points streak, which is tied for fifth longest in the AHL this season. He has nine goals and eight assists during the streak. He had two goals and eight shots on goal in the IceHogs’ 4-1 win over the Iowa Wild on Tuesday. He has 20 goals, 21 assists and a plus-eight rating in 41 games in the AHL this season.
Brandon Pirri, forward, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), drafted second round in 2009: The 22-year-old Pirri isn’t too far behind Morin as of late. Pirri is on a seven-game points streak and has had six goals and four assists during that stretch. He has 10 goals, 13 assists and a minus-three rating in 24 games for the IceHogs this season.
Adam Clendening, defenseman, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), drafted second round in 2011: The 21-year-old Clendening continues to be one of the best offensive defensemen in the AHL. He’s second in the league among defensemen with 45 points and leads it with 38 assists. He has 11 assists in 10 games in February. He had three assists in the IceHogs’ 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday. He also has a plus-14 rating in 56 games this season.
Pierre-Marc Bouchard, forward, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), acquired via trade in 2014: The 29-year-old Bouchard has recorded nine points in seven games since joining the IceHogs in early February. He has one goal and eight assists with the IceHogs.
Klas Dahlbeck, defenseman, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), drafted third round in 2011: The 22-year-old Dahlbeck has consistently put up offensive numbers for the IceHogs this season. After having six points in 70 games last season, Dahlbeck has 10 goals and 23 assists in 56 games this season. He has two goals and seven assists in February.
Jason LaBarbera, goaltender, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), acquired via trade in 2013: The 34-year-old LaBarbera has won his last seven starts for the IceHogs. He’s 7-0-0 with a 2.28 goals-against average and .923 save percentage in February. He’s allowed two or less goals in his last four starts. He’s 11-5-1 with a 2.50 goals-against average and .915 save percentage for the IceHogs this season.
Michael Paliotta, defenseman, Vermont (NCAA), drafted third round in 2011: The 20-year-old Paliotta, a junior, had two assists in Vermont’s 4-3 win over Merrimack on Saturday. He has three goals, 19 assists and 44 blocks in 31 games this season.
Stephen Johns, defenseman, Notre Dame (NCAA), drafted second round in 2010: The 21-year-old Johns, a senior, scored a goal and had two penalties for four minutes in the Irish’s 2-0 win over Boston University on Friday and had two penalties for 15 minutes in their 2-0 win on Saturday. He has five goals, 10 assists, a plus-four rating, 61 penalty minutes and 52 blocks in 33 games this season.
Luke Johnson, forward, North Dakota (NCAA), drafted fifth round in 2013: The 19-year-old Johnson, a freshman, scored two goals and had an assist in North Dakota’s 3-0 win over Minnesota Duluth on Friday. He has six goals, 11 assists and a plus-six rating in 30 games this season.
Ryan Hartman, forward, Plymouth Whalers (OHL), drafted first round in 2013: The 19-year-old Hartman has eight goals and seven assists in 11 games in February. He had two assists in a 4-2 win over the Kitchener Rangers on Tuesday. He has 22 goals, 23 assists and a minus-12 rating in 45 games this season.
Tyler Motte, forward, Michigan (NCAA), drafted fourth round in 2013: The 18-year-old Motte, a freshman, had a goal in each of Michigan’s two games against Penn State last weekend. He has nine goals and six assists in 28 games this season.
Carl Dahlstrom, defenseman, Linkoping (Sweden), drafted second round in 2013: The 18-year-old Dahlstrom had an assist in Linkoping’s 6-5 win over Skellefteå on Tuesday. He has one assist and a minus-one rating in eight games this season.
Robin Press, defenseman, Södertälje (Sweden), drafted seventh round in 2013: The 19-year-old Press had a goal in Sodertalje’s 5-4 win over Almtuna IS on Wednesday. He has three goals, seven assists and a minus-one rating in 45 games this season.
