Michael Jordan, LeBron Jordan, Magic JohnsonUS Presswire, Getty ImagesLeBron's title team was better than Michael Jordan's and Magic Johnson's teams -- on paper.

For some, the natural instinct last June was to slap an asterisk on the Miami Heat's NBA championship. After all, it came in a lockout-shortened 66-game campaign, plus LeBron James and company didn't defeat one of the league's traditional glamour franchises -- namely, the Los Angeles Lakers -- in the Finals. In fact, at one point they were in a 2-1 hole against the Roy Hibbert-led Indiana Pacers, and were also pushed to the brink of elimination by the ancient Boston Celtics (an ill-timed injury to Chris Bosh didn't help in either regard). Their 16-7 record along the way to the title ranked just 40th out of the NBA's 63 all-time champions.

By most measures, then, the 2012 Heat were hardly among the most dominating title-winners in league history. Yet, at the same time, they might have been right up there with the most talented champs ever.

A man from Chicago purchased a gallon of barbecue sauce intended for use on McDonald's McJordan sandwich in 1992 for $9,995.00 on eBay, according to the item's seller.

"I've got quite a bit of McDonald's memorabilia," said Mort Bank, a former McDonald's owner-operator in North Dakota. "This was on my shelf, and my daughter who helps me with eBay said, 'I wonder what something like this would be worth?'

Clyde Drexler, Michael JordanGetty ImagesWas Clyde Drexler jealous of Michael Jordan? Charles Barkley said that was a Dream Team subplot.
Charles Barkley said Thursday that he likes Clyde Drexler and considered him a great player, but Barkley also felt that Drexler had a jealousy problem on the 1992 "Dream Team."

"I think Clyde has always been jealous of Michael (Jordan), to be honest with you," Barkley said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I think he's always wanted to be compared to Michael.

"Hey, we all want to be compared to Michael, but we're not. Clyde was a great player, but there was always that jealousy of Michael. That was one of the incidents and things about the Dream Team, Clyde was trying to play like it was Game 7 against Michael, and that's probably not a good idea. When Michael is driving his kids to school, he thinks it's Game 7."

And as far as what Drexler reportedly said about Magic Johnson in Jack McCallum's book: "Dream Team," Barkley picked a side in a dispute. McCallum wrote that Drexler said that people pitied Magic because of his HIV diagnosis and that was the only reason he was on the Dream Team. But Drexler later denied it and said the quotes were "totally ludicrous."

"I like Clyde Drexler, but Jack McCallum is a great guy, and I don't think he would misinterpret anything," Barkley said. "I saw some of the statements. I thought they were not very cool at all. I don't think Jack's going to make up ... first of all, he doesn't have to make up anything. ... If I had to believe somebody, I would probably believe Jack McCallum."
