CHICAGO -- Let's take a quick look at how the Chicago Bulls earned an 85-82 win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night at the United Center.

How it happened: After a lethargic first three quarters in which they trailed by 17 at one point, the Bulls raced back into the game thanks in large part to the play of Nate Robinson. The veteran guard scored nine of 11 points in the fourth quarter and dished out seven assists as the Bulls earned another win. Carlos Boozer had 16 points and six rebounds, and Jimmy Butler had another solid game with 18 points and nine rebounds. Joakim Noah had 10 points and 18 rebounds, but his biggest play of the night came with under 10 seconds left when he saved the ball to Marco Belinelli, who scored and was fouled with 7.5 seconds left. That gave the Bulls a lead they would not relinquish.

What it means: Tom Thibodeau is going to hate the way his team played for the first 36 minutes, but he will love the way they hustled in the final 12. Robinson provided the spark that Thibodeau was looking for, but Noah provided the play that defined this game. After being benched during most of the second half Saturday night, Noah has responded the way Thibodeau hoped that he would. He has played with the type of passion and fire the veteran coach has been searching for.

Hits: Taj Gibson had a solid outing, scoring 14 points and pulling down four rebounds.

Misses: Kirk Hinrich was 0-for-5 from the field and did not score.

Stat of the night: The Bulls have now beaten the Pistons 17 straight times.

What's next: The Bulls take on the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
