NEW YORK -- Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah will start in Game 2 against the Brooklyn Nets and will play 20-25 minutes as he deals with ongoing issues with plantar fasciitis in his right foot.

"I'm feeling alright," Noah said before the Bulls' morning shootaround.

Noah was largely ineffective in Game 1 while playing just 13 minutes, but Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau has repeatedly talked positively about having Noah's presence on the floor.

Noah is looking forward to the challenge of trying to even up the series.

"We're a team with great character," he said. "Every time we hit adversity I feel like we've responded pretty well. So tonight's probably the biggest test of the year, it's exciting."

Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich will also play after sustaining a left thigh bruise in Game 1.
