PORTLAND, Ore. -- Let's take a quick look at how the Portland Trail Blazers squeaked out a 98-95 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night at the Moda Center.

How it happened: Wesley Matthews led the Blazers with 28 points, while Damian Lillard chipped in with 20 as Portland came back from a 21-point deficit. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 20 points, but he left the game in the third quarter with a right knee injury and did not return.

What it means: Few people outside of Oregon will remember this game aside from the fact that Rose got hurt again. His right knee appeared to buckle midway through the third quarter. He was escorted off the floor at the end of the third quarter and wasn't putting any weight on his right knee. Assistant trainer Jeff Tanaka and Bulls head of security Eric Buck were on either side of Rose, while Bulls director of sports medicine Jen Swanson followed behind him. The scene looked eerily similar to what happened in May 2012, when Rose tore the ACL in his left knee.

Hits: Kirk Hinrich had 13 points off the bench for the Bulls.

Misses: Luol Deng missed a 3 at the buzzer that would have tied the game.

Stat of the night: Rose was 6-for-19 from the field before the injury.

What's next: The Bulls face off against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon at Staples Center.
