ATLANTA -- The Chicago Bulls will be without swingman Jimmy Butler for Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks because of sore ribs, according to Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.

"He warmed up tonight and he said he was feeling better. He's not quite there," Thibodeau said. "He's right -- it is a sensitive area, so you have to wait to see where he's comfortable enough to be out there. So he's close."

Bulter injured his ribs in the first quarter Friday against the Denver Nuggets and sat out Sunday's game against the Miami Heat.
