AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Let's take a quick look at how the Chicago Bulls pulled out a 105-94 win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

How it happened: Joakim Noah ripped off another triple-double, his second in three games and third of the season, going for 10 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as the Bulls woke up just in time to knock off the lowly Pistons. D.J. Augustin poured in 26 points, and Jimmy Butler chipped in with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Greg Monroe led the Pistons with 27 points.

What it means: The difference in this game came in the fourth quarter. The Bulls started playing like the consistent team they've been for the past two months and stopped playing the way the Pistons have played for the past two months. The Bulls hit shots, played defense and played with the edge that has defined them after a poor showing through the first three quarters.

Hits: Taj Gibson set the early tone for the Bulls, scoring 22 points and grabbing five rebounds off the bench.

Misses: Will Bynum was 1-for-11 from the field for the Pistons.

Stats of the night: Aside from Noah's stat line, the most important stat was that the Bulls outscored the Pistons 34-24 in the fourth quarter.

What's next: The Bulls head home to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.
