Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah was voted to his second consecutive NBA All-Defensive first team, and guard Jimmy Butler made the second team, the league announced on Monday.

Noah, the Defensive Player of the Year, received a league-high 105 first-place votes. He ranked sixth in the NBA in rebounding (11.3), 12th in blocks (1.51) and added 1.24 steals. He anchored a Bulls defense that held opponents to a .430 field-goal percentage, the second-best in the NBA.

Butler was voted to the second team in his first season as a starter. He often guarded the opponent's best player and took on an even larger defensive role when Luol Deng was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in January.

Joining Noah on the first team are Indiana Pacers forward Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka and swingman Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors.

The Miami Heat's LeBron James joins Jimmy Butler on the second team along with Patrick Beverley of the Houston Rockets, Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spurs and Roy Hibbert of the Indiana Pacers.
