Thirty field goal attempts not a good sign

Derrick Rose was 12-of-32 from the field Sunday night as the Bulls lost Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in Atlanta, sparking a debate as to whether he took too many shots. He also had 10 assists.

Two other players in the last 20 years attempted at least 30 shots while dishing at least 10 assists in a non-overtime playoff game, and all three times the that player's team lost, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

LeBron James was 10-of-30 with 10 assists in Game 4 of the 2007 NBA Finals as the Cavaliers lost 83-82, completing a sweep for the Spurs.

The Suns' Kevin Johnson was 15-of-31 with 12 assists in a 107-96 loss to the Rockets in the 1994 playoffs.
