Bulls OK with or without adding player

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Everybody has a different opinion as to what the Chicago Bulls should do with their last roster spot.
Some say they should go after an extra big man as an insurance policy on Joakim Noah and Omer Asik. Some say with all the injuries to Derrick Rose and C.J. Watson they should go after an extra guard.
ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported Monday that Derek Fisher's first choice is to come to the Bulls. Rose said before Monday's game against the Orlando Magic that if that were to happen, the Bulls would be happy, but Rose reiterated what he's been saying all year -- the Bulls don't need to add anyone because they already feel as if they can win a title.
"D-Fish definitely could help our team," Rose said. "But like I said, it's not up to me. It's up to the front office to make that call. If he comes, we'll welcome him with open arms, but we don't know right now."
Rose said he spent a little time with Fisher over the summer when they played in the same exhibition game in the Philippines, but really hasn't talked to him much since.
"I've never talked to him other than going to the Philippines and that was about it," Rose said.
As for Luol Deng, he would add another big man if he had a choice. That player is his former teammate, Andres Nocioni, who has been given permission by the Philadelphia 76ers to explore other options.
"I hope we do," Deng said after Saturday night's win over the Sixers. "I put a lot of credit in my NBA career in that guy’s hands. Coming in as a rookie and seeing how he worked and how he approached [the] game helped me a lot."
In talking to people in and around the team, it sounds as if no move is imminent at the moment, but as usual all options are being kept open. The Bulls are following Rose's lead, though: They'll be happy to accept another player, but they don't feel like they need one to win.
