Rapid Reaction: Bulls 102, Raptors 101
How it happened: Luol Deng grabbed a rebound under the basket and put it in just before the buzzer sounded. Deng finished the night with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Carlos Boozer added 24 points and 10 rebounds. Playing for the injured Derrick Rose (groin) C.J. Watson scored 23 points.
What it means: Playing without Rose, Rip Hamilton and Joakim Noah, who was ejected in the second quarter for throwing a ball in the direction of an official, the Bulls still found a way to win. Tom Thibodeau would be the first one to admit that his team really didn't play that well, but they yet again made the plays down the stretch to earn a victory. It's a testament to the culture in the Bulls' locker room that they continue to find a way to win no matter who is on the floor.
Stats of the night: The Bulls and Raptors combined to go just 6-for-47-from 3-point land. The Bulls outscored the Raptors 64-46 in the paint.
Bold play of the game: Raptors forward James Johnson actually played solid defense on Watson on the final possession, but Deng was in the right place at the right time -- saving the game for the Bulls at the buzzer.
What's next: The Bulls take on the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. The Bulls will be looking for their fifth win in a row.
