D-Rose joins Twitter, will update rehab

Derrick Rose has joined the Twitter world.

"What's up everyone? I've seen a lot of you ask me to start a Twitter account, so I decided to give it a try to let you all follow my journey back to the court. Make sure to check me out @drose," Rose wrote on his Facebook account on Sunday.

Since then, Rose has sent two tweets, one wishing Team USA luck in playing for the gold medal and one congratulating the Olympic champions.

In his Facebook post, Rose mentioned his journey back to the court from ACL surgery. Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf told ESPN 1000's "Talkin' Baseball" on Saturday that he won't rush back Rose as he believes he once did with Michael Jordan.
